Roger Federer Lauds His Rivals- “Rafael Nadal and Novak Djo…

World Number three, Roger Federer has high regard for his rivals, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. He believes that all three of them spend ample time with their fans and respect their fanbase. Also, the elite men of tennis are involved in charity, devote time for the welfare of society and believe in giving back with what they are blessed with.

“I think Rafa and Novak and everybody at the top actually is doing a really nice job, you know, always interacting with the fans and giving them the time,” Roger Federer said. “It is important to me. It’s always been and the same for the charitable work.”

“I think we have a unique opportunity of being successful tennis players. We can inspire, can mobilize, we can give back, can help. Why not do it if you can, you know. It would be a wasted opportunity if you didn’t. I don’t know. That’s what we do. I don’t know. I mean, it’s okay also to practice in front of nobody, but it’s not quite the same, you know,” Federer added. Roger Federer’s foundation takes care of one million underprivileged children in Africa.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation Manacor, Spain takes care of more than five thousand children and young people. Rafa also runs a tennis academy, Rafa Nadal Academy which facilities budding tennis players to master upon their tennis skills.

The Novak Djokovic Foundation primarily focuses on providing education to children. The children receive a quality preschool education. There are presently 180k children in Serbia who are a part of the Novak Djokovic Foundation. Apart from Serbia, the foundation is based in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
