Falardeau to leave Education Foundation CEO post in Indian …

VERO BEACH — The longtime CEO of the Education Foundation of Indian River County has announced she’s leaving the nonprofit group for a job in Stuart.

Cynthia Falardeau has been with the foundation for more than 14 years. She’ll finish her work there on Oct. 18 and become the senior director of the Women Corporate Directors chapter in Stuart, the foundation said.

The foundation pays for needs and services for students. It is independent of the School District of Indian River County.

The Board of Directors said it is searching for its new CEO.

The Women Corporate Directors is a national nonprofit group with the aim to increase representation of women on public and large private company boards, according to its website.
